Stevie Cavalier
Stevie Cavalier lleva más de una década trabajando como actriz y cineasta en Nueva Orleans, Luisiana. Su cortometraje, *La Piñata* ganó el premio «Best of Fest» en el Topaz Film Festival de 2020 —organizado por Dallas Women in Film—. Su corto más reciente, *Miniature Life*, recibió el premio Founder’s Circle en el Louisiana Film Prize, la beca Joy James Memorial Grant en el Uptilt Film Festival y el premio a la mejor película de Luisiana en el Abita International Film Festival. Stevie posee un másters de Bellas Artes (MFA) en Producción Cinematográfica por la Universidad de Nueva Orleans y ha impartido clases de producción cinematográfica en la Universidad de Tulane.
Stevie Cavalier has been working as an actor and filmmaker for over a decade in the New Orleans area. Her short film, The Piñata, was awarded «Best of Fest» at the Topaz Film Festival 2020–presented by Dallas Women in Film, and her most recent short, Miniature Life, won a Founder’s Circle Award from Louisiana Film Prize, the Joy James Memorial Scholarship from the Uptilt Film Festival, and Best Louisiana Film from the Abita International film Festival. Stevie holds an MFA in Film Production from the University of New Orleans and has taught film production part-time at Tulane University for several years.
