Se-jong Joo, que vive en un pequeño pueblo, fabrica y vende alcohol ilegal junto a sus dos hermanos menores. Un día, un aldeano que había bebido el alcohol de los hermanos Joo muere. Entonces deciden ir a Hwaseong para recuperar ese alcohol en cuestión. Mientras tanto, en Hwaseong, unos fanáticos pseudorreligiosos, ‘Yeo & Nam’, disparaban y mataban al azar a los aldeanos para reunir 12 cuerpos. En ese pueblo, convertido en un infierno, los hermanos Joo se encuentran con ‘Yeo & Nam’. Y su plan de recuperar el “alcohol asesino” comienza a salir mal.

Se-jong Joo, living in a small town, makes and sells bootleg alcohol with his two younger brothers. One day, a villager who drank Joo brother’s alcohol dies. And then they head to ‘Hwaseong’ to take back that alcohol in question. Meanwhile, in Hwaseong, a pseudo-fanatic ‘Yeo & Nam’ were randomly shooting and killing the villagers to collect 12 bodies. In that town, which has got turned into hell, Joo brothers encounter ‘Yeo & Nam’. And their plan to take back the “killing alcohol” begins to go wrong.

2013: Completó su primer largometraje, Dog: Dog Eat Dog. Su segundo largometraje, LIVEHARD, ganó el Premio del Público en la Sección de Competencia Nacional del Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico de Bucheon en 2018. Su tercer largometraje, Mash Ville, obtuvo el Premio a la Dirección en el Festival Internacional de Cine Fantasia en 2024 y el Premio a la Mejor Película en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Yellowstone en el mismo año. Actualmente dirige Kitsch Films y desarrolla películas a través de diversos proyectos.

2013: Completed his first feature film, ‘Dog: Dog Eat Dog.’ His second feature film, ‘LIVEHARD,’ won the Audience Award in the Domestic Competition Section at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2018. His third feature film, ‘Mash Ville,’ won the Director’s Award at the Fantasia International Film Festival in 2024 and the Best Film Award at the Yellowstone International Film Festival in the same year. He currently runs ‘Kitsch Films’ and is creating films through various projects.
