Emanuele Palamara is a director, screenwriter and film producer born in Naples on 20 August 1986.

Graduated in «Arti e Scienze dello Spettacolo» at the Faculty of «Lettere e Filosofia» of «La Sapienza» in Rome, he began in 2009 as assistant director. Important collaborations with Matteo Garrone, in his film «Reality» and with Stefano Sollima in the first season of «Gomorra – La Serie».

In 2011 he wins the Cortolazio Award for Best Screenplay which allows him to shoot his first short film entitled «Papà», starring Remo Remotti. In 2015 he shoots his second short film entitled «La Smorfia» which gets excellent feedback in national and international festivals and is purchased by TVs such as Mediaset, HBO Europe and Japan TV. In January 2016, Palamara shoots his third short film entitled «Uomo in mare». Starring Marco D’Amore, the short wins the Corto D’Argento Special Award at the Nastri D’Argento 2017 and is purchased by Studio Universal. In 2017 Alessandro Siani entrusts Palamara with the direction and script of the episode «L’Isola di Cioccolato» of the film «San Valentino Stories», produced by Run Film and Rai Cinema. In 2021 Palamara shoots «Who shoots first», a western short film produced by his Bro Company with the contribution of the Campania Region and in collaboration with the Campania Region Film Commission, in the same year he wins the 2021 Cinema Plan for the development of the Film «Who shoots first» based on the short film of the same name.
